The world’s best reels can only be teamed up with the ultimate rods, Saltiga rods. Designed to compliment the reel series, the Saltiga rod series has set the standard for offshore game and jigging tackle throughout the world. The heart of any great rod is the construction of the blank.
Using only the finest materials available, Daiwa has produced the lightest, strongest graphite available and used their famous “bias wrap construction” method to produce the thinnest heavy duty blanks available. With technology advancing at a rapid rate Daiwa increased carbon density and minimized resin percentages via “hot press manufacturing” a process where the 8 different carbon layers are heat welded together rather than the traditional resin bonding process. This allows for the production of a lighter, thinner and incredibly responsive blank while still maintaining superb strength.
Built for optimal performance the Saltiga rods are finished with Fuji’s premium Titanium Silicone Carbide New Concept guides. Being so light these guides really accentuate the blanks characteristics delivering crisp responsive performance and allows for effective line heat dissipation.
The Saltiga range of rods cover just about any offshore jigging and casting situation and are perfectly balanced to the diverse range of Saltiga spin and overhead reels.
