โ—ECONOMIZER (ONLY L50) There are two economizers included with the reel. They are made from nylon resin and glass fiber. You can hold 300m of PE#4 and 300m of #3exactly, and when you go on an expedition, simply remove the economizer and you can hold an additional 100m of #4 or an additional 300m of #3 PE line, which will allow you to fish a little bit harder than with the economizer attached โ—ADJUSTABLE HANDLE ARM The handle arm is made from high grade aluminum and is adjustable to three lengths! L50 : 90mm/78mm/65mm โ—SUPER SPOOL FREE This system is the newest free spool system in the market. While in the spool free setting,the spool is 100% free floating,this will allow you to sink jigs just as fast as using a spinning outfit โ—ADJUSTABLE HANDLE ARM The handle arm is made from high grade aluminum and is adjustable to three lengths! L120 Hi/Lo : 95mm/83mm AIR EGG SHAPE (AE100) HANDLE KNOB AIR EGG SHAPE Handle knob {Only available on our Low gear model} We are using an EVA rubber coating on our all new AE100 handle knob. This coating helps to keep the knob light and slip resistant. This T-bar shaped knob allows you to get 100% power out of your low geared reel. โ—NON-SYMMETRICAL FRAME When designing our machined cut reel we thought of not only looks but also about ergonomics. Palming of the reel is one of the most important designs in our mind. A non-symmetrical frame allows for a more natural feel while reeling and less stress at the grind. โ—ROUND BRIDGE The inside frame design we are using is called "round bridge". This round bridge design helps keep line lay smooth and troubleless. Non-stress reeling โ—ANGULAR CONTACT BEARING With the help from a local bearing manufactorer,we produced this truly strong and time tested bearing. The max performance bearing period.   โ—SUPER STRONG ONE WAY BEARING This bearing can stand up to the most heaviest jigs available. This bearing will guarantee there will be no backwards slipping even at 50+ kilos. Also we are using water proof rubber on the bearing to prevent backwards slipping.   โ—STAINLESS STEEL HIGH MODULAS GEAR Same type of gear found in large sized trolling reels. Made out of extremely strong stainless steel, but to everyones suprise, it is very light in weight. The gear is attached to the main shaft by a screw. This gear was made for jigging. โ—STAINLESS HANDLE SHAFT Handle shaft is made out of 10mm superstrong stainless steel. This handle is extremely heat and corrosion resistant. Also it is very light in weight.   โ—ALUMINUM DRAG DISC This disc helps prevent your drag from heating up and malfuctioning.We have also sanded the face of these discs. Nice and smooth drag performance is our goal. โ—HEAT RESISTANT CORK DRAG WASHERS These washers are heat resistant and can handle a pounding. From speedy tuna all the way to those torkfull amberjacks, these washers can take it. โ—KILO SET LEVER On our L50 reel series you get 0.5kg per drag click. You will get an additional 2kg in the max drag position. With our L120 series reel you will get 1kg per drag click and also 2 additional kilograms in the max drag position. โ—SPOOL CLICK The spool will make a clicking sound when the drag is operating. โ—TEFLON GREASE We use teflon grease because it has extremely long life,does not stick,helps reduce heat and it is also works well in saltwater conditions. โ—SPOOL CHANGE You can change the spool with the use of one minus screwdriver. โ—DRAG WASHER REPLACEMENT Replacement of drag washers is simple. โ—ONE WAY BEARING REPLACEMENT Compared to other types of reels, jigging reels bearings have a shorter life expectancy. So we made it easier to replace those bearings. โ—GREASE UP Grease ups made simple. You can get to the drive gear through the right cover cap making grease ups a sinch!       Caution points while using our lever drag reel! โ— While using the reel with the drag tension set high you may experience a heavier reel oscillation then with the drag set at a lower tension, this is normal with a lever drag reel. Using the reel with the drag tension set high for a long period of time although, could cause the bearing located inside the lever to malfunction. โ— When you are not using the reel, please keep the drag lever set in the free position. To set the drag to the free position, Turn the preset knob all the way to the left. If left with the drag tightend it could damage your reel!       Even while in normal use, the bearing located in the drag is under extreme pressure. We recommend that before you go on and return from an expedetion that you fully maintain your reel for top performance. If when changing your reel from strike to fighting position if the handles oscillation feels heavy, then its time to overhaul your reel. * On our 2009 Blue Heaven L50, we are using the all new angular contact bearings, by adding these bearings it allows this reel to fish to the next level.You will also find these extra tough bearings on our L120 series reels. โ— When operating the drag lever, the drag lever,drag cam and cam plate are always under positive friction. Due to the positive friction of the moving parts,we are using high grade materials,but due to that rubbing that evolves you will evantually lose drag performance and must overhaul at that time.If you lose smoothness overhaul your reel.
